Cowork — You & AI

Cowork Claude

With Cowork, you can build systems that run without you: tasks that run themselves, dashboards that keep themselves current, and a browser that does the clicking.

5 sessions · 75 min Live on Zoom · capped at 12 $1,000 Fridays · 12:00–1:15pm ET

We teach ideas that matter

We teach practical application. Not what dazzles in a demo but what you will actually apply day in and day out to your work.

We build conceptual understanding. If you grasp the why, then you can deploy the how more flexibly & confidently.

The five sessions

Most AI use is a conversation. Cowork is a worker: learn to hand off real work — messy folders, repeat tasks, trackers, web errands — and build the rules and Skills that let it run without you.

1

Create a document system

Turn folders into systems.

Turn folders of documents into organized files and finished reports — and leave behind the templates and CLAUDE.md rules that make every future run faster.

Assignment: Set up a document system for one of your projects.

2

Define your playbook

Turn repeated work into Skills.

The work you repeat becomes reusable commands that capture your standards and run on demand — your first real automation layer.

Assignment: Build two Skills for work you do every week.

3

Schedule your recurring work

Briefings and checks that run themselves.

Get briefings, roll-ups, and checks that run whether or not you remember to ask — the shift from asking AI to having AI already done it.

Assignment: Schedule one recurring task that lands before you need it.

4

Create live dashboards

Trackers that keep themselves current.

Create and publish live artifacts — trackers and status views that persist between sessions and refresh themselves.

Assignment: Build one dashboard for something you currently track by hand.

5

Get more done on the web

A browser that does the clicking.

Use Claude in Chrome on its own and in tandem with Cowork and Skills — research, form-filling, multi-tab comparisons, and the web half of your workflows.

We teach so it sticks

We work through concepts live on real examples. Everyone gets the recording for 7 days to watch it back.

Apply it

You apply what you learned to your work, ~30 minutes outside class.

Get feedback

Your instructor reviews your work, answers questions, and adds notes where helpful.

Build on it

The next class opens with a discussion of examples & questions from the class.

Common questions

How is this different from Skills & Surfaces?

They’re complementary; most people take Surfaces first, but it isn’t required. Skills & Surfaces puts AI inside commonplace work tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Chrome. Cowork is a version of Claude Code designed for professionals without technical backgrounds, and you can use it to build document systems, run tasks asynchronously, and build live, interactive dashboards.

Do I have to take Foundations first?

You either need to have taken Foundations or have equivalent working knowledge. Cowork assumes you’re comfortable with Projects, memory, instructions, and model selection, and moves quickly into systems-building. If you’re not sure about fit, you can Contact us.

I use ChatGPT — can I still take this?

Cowork is a Claude-specific tool, so it would not make sense to take this class.

Do I need a paid version of Claude?

Yes, Cowork is only available to paid accounts. If you are on a Teams or Enterprise account, we recommend you confirm that Cowork is available to your account.

Are there any other software requirements?

Cowork currently works best with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), so you’ll want to have an Office subscription.

What if I miss a session?

Recordings are available to everyone in the class for 7 days after each session.

What’s the refund policy?

We can’t offer refunds, but we can issue you a credit toward a future course.

I can’t make the listed sessions but would like to join a future one. Do you have a list I can join?

If you add your email address here, we’ll notify you when we open future trainings.
